No-Bake Peanut Butter Chocolate Protein Bites

Illustration of no-bake peanut butter chocolate protein bites

These taste like a peanut butter cup but hold together like a granola bar. They're quick to make, need no oven, and are easy to portion, which makes them a better snack than grabbing spoonfuls of peanut butter.

Tips

Getting the texture right. Protein powders absorb liquid differently. Add liquid slowly: too wet and the bites slump, too dry and they crumble.

Weigh the portions. Rolling 30 g balls keeps every bite close to the nutrition shown. Bigger "bites" are the easiest way to eat twice the calories without noticing.

Storage. Keep in a sealed container in the fridge for up to a week, or freeze for a month.

Allergies. Contains peanuts and milk (whey). Sunflower seed butter works as a peanut-free swap, with slightly different nutrition.
